MEET THE TEAM    Dr. Pam Boyce

Dr. Pam Boyce

Dr. Boyce graduated from Saint Xavier College completing her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She worked as an oncology nurse for 5 years and developed an interest in eye care. Dr. Boyce received her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1990. She then completed a residency in Primary Eye Care and Ocular Disease from the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Boyce is the former Chief of the Cornea and Contact Lens Department at the Illinois Eye Institute of the Illinois College of Optometry. In addition to caring for her patients in Park Ridge, Dr. Boyce is an Associate Professor at the Illinois College of Optometry where she provides clinical education to future optometrists. She has helped patients in the Cornea and Contact Lens, Advanced Eye Care, Pediatric and Binocular Vision, and Primary Eye Care Departments. 

 

Dr. Boyce founded Boyce Family Eye Care, Ltd. in 2010. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages with all eye care problems. Her passion is assisting patients with contact lens difficulties, myopia control, keratoconus, ocular surface disease, and dry eye. She has had many research opportunities and publications highlighting her contributions to the profession of optometry and eye care. Dr. Boyce is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry; a member of the American Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, American Optometric Contact Lens Educators, American Optometric Practice Management Educators. 

 

She enjoys time with family and friends, walking, gardening, reading, and traveling.
